PRIVACY NOTICE
Indigo Lane Ltd. makes every effort to keep your information
confidential and to protect your privacy. We take your privacy and our
responsibility under data protection legislation very seriously. We
believe this to be an important part of our service to all users. We
want you to be able to use indigolane.com for the purpose it is
intended in a worry-free and safe environment where you know you can be
safe from spam (we hate it too).
This notice describes our privacy policy. By visiting indigolane.com
you are accepting the practices set out in this Privacy Notice.
Collection of Personal Information
The information we learn from customers helps us personalize and
continually improve your experience at indigolane.com. Here are the
types of information we gather.
Information You Give Us:
We receive and store information you enter on our web site or give us in any other way.
For example, you provide information when you place an order; provide
information in the set-up wizard for a book; communicate with us by
phone, e-mail, or otherwise; provide employer information when creating
an Acknowledgment Book for a corporate account or; provide content for
examples or testimonials. As a result of these actions, you might
supply us with such information such as your name, address, and phone
numbers and e-mail address. You may also provide us with information
about other people whom you wish to contribute to an Acknowledgment
Book including their postal and e-mail addresses and phone number.
You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might
not be able to take advantage of many of our features. We use the
information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your
requests, customizing future interactions for you, improving our
website, and communicating with you.
Automatic Information:
We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact
with us. Unlike many web sites, we do not use “cookies” to
store information on your computer or in our systems. We may, however,
need to temporarily maintain information regarding your activities in
certain areas of the website in order to provide services to you. We do
this through maintaining session variables that, for example,
temporarily preserve the value of information you have entered into a
form or a page selection you have made. This information expires
shortly after you exit the relevant page or the website itself and is
not retained in permanent memory on our computers nor yours unless it
is part of the content of an Acknowledgment Book.
Examples of the information we may collect and analyze include Internet
protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet;
login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information
such as browser type and version, operating system, and platform; the
full Uniform Resource Locator (URL) clickstream to, through, and from
our Web site, including date and time. During some visits we may use
software tools such as JavaScript to measure and collect session
information, including page response times, download errors, length of
visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as
scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away
from the page.
E-mail Communications:
As a general principle we do not send you e-mails unless you’ve
requested us to do so. However, from time to time we have information
which we think would be of interest to you. If you have indicated you
would like to receive information from us we will contact you in
accordance with your preferences. If you no longer wish to receive
e-mail or other mail from us please contact us.
Information from Other Sources
Examples of information we receive from other sources include updated
delivery and address information from our carriers, which we use to
correct our records; and deliver your next purchase or communication
more easily; search results and links, and credit history information
from credit bureaus, which we use to help prevent and detect fraud.
Sharing of Information
Information about our customers is an important part of our business,
and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We share
customer information only as described below.
Agents:
We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our
behalf. Examples include: delivering packages; sending postal mail;
analyzing data; providing marketing assistance, providing search
results and links and processing credit card payments. They may have
access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but
may not use it for other purposes.
Business Transfers:
As we continue to develop our business, we might buy subsidiaries, or
business units. In such transactions, customer information generally is
one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the
promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Notice (unless, of course,
the customer consents otherwise). Also, in the unlikely event that
Indigo Lane Ltd., or substantially all of its assets are acquired,
customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets.
Protection of Indigo Lane Ltd. and Others:
We release account and other personal information when we believe
release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our
Conditions of Use and other agreements; or protect the rights,
property, or safety of Indigo Lane Ltd., our users, or others. This
includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations
for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Obviously, however,
this does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise
disclosing personally identifiable information from customers for
commercial purposes in violation of the commitments set forth in this
Privacy Notice.
With Your Consent:
Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when information
about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity
to choose not to share the information.
Security of Information
• We work to protect the security of your information during
transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which
provides 128bts encryption for the information you input.
• One of the reasons we use PayPal as our e-commerce partner is to
protect your information and security. For more information on the

• It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access
to your password and to your computer. Be sure to log out when finished

indigolane.com gives you access to a broad range of information about
your account and your interactions with us for the limited purpose of
viewing and, in certain cases, updating that information. Examples of
information you can access easily at indigolane.com include up-to-date
information regarding recent additions to contributions to a book;
personally identifiable information (including name, e-mail, and
password); information on payments (including balances on payment owing
from individual contributors); e-mail notification settings (including
“Remind Me Later” setting).
Your Choices
As discussed above, you can always choose not to provide information,
even though it might be needed to make a purchase or to take advantage
of indigolane.com features.

• If you do not wish to receive e-mail or other mail from us,

receive Conditions of Use and other legal notices from us, such as this

indigolane.com, and it is your responsibility to review them for

Children
Indigo Lane Ltd. does not sell products for purchase by children. If
you are under 18, you may use indigolane.com only with the involvement
of a parent or guardian.
Conditions of Use, Notices, and Revisions
If you choose to visit indigolane.com, your visit and any dispute over
privacy is subject to this Notice and our Conditions of Use, including
limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes, and application of the
law of New Zealand. If you have any concern about privacy at
indigolane.com, please send us a thorough description to
anneandmoni@indigolane.com, and we will try our best to resolve it.
Our business changes constantly, and our Privacy Notice and the
Conditions of Use will change also. You should check our Web site
frequently to see recent changes. Unless stated otherwise, our current
Privacy Notice applies to all information that we have about you and
your account. We stand behind the promises we make, however, and will
never materially change our policies and practices to make them less
protective of customer information collected in the past without the
consent of affected customers.
