What makes an Acknowledgement Book different?
An Indigo Lane Acknowledgement Book is not a “This Is Your Life” Book, nor is it a Memoir or Keepsake Book. Our books require those who contribute to dig deep and put into words: the recipient’s qualities; the impact knowing the recipient has had on them and; the impact they see the recipient having on others.
What does it cost?

book, box and delivery is NZ$1750; AU$1450; US$1100; Can$1250; UK£590 . We pay GST, VAT or equivalent, and
deliver to your door. We request a deposit prior to printing the book and remainder of the payment prior to book delivery.
We have made provision to accept contributions of $100 minimum
so a group of people can contribute to the cost.
How long does it take?
It takes a minimum of eight weeks to make a book.
This includes three weeks for contributors to write their acknowledgements and four
weeks for printing, binding and delivery.
What kind of event is it appropriate for?
An Acknowledgement Book can be a gift for a birthday,
retirement, or other special occasion, or simply to say ‘thank you’. It can be a personal gift given by friends and family or a corporate gift given in recognition of a person’s contribution to a business.
How big are they?
The finished book is 13" x 13" with the thickness varying depending on the number of pages you choose to have in the book. The book is encased in a specially designed presentation box made to fit precisely the dimensions of the book. Both the book and the box are hand-crafted from papers, book cloths and trims sourced from around the world.
Does it come with a guarantee?
Our books are handcrafted to the highest standards and we are proud to guarantee their quality. If any defect in material or workmanship develops within the first two years of purchase (normal wear and tear, accidental damage and misuse excepted) the faulty product will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
